This 1948 Sedan is based on a grass strip in South Carolina, USA. In April 2013, Brian Safran, who took the below pictures, sent us the following lines:
"Yesterday, I visited with Randy Van Surdam, the owner of N1005H. He made his first solo in this plane, many, many years ago. He owns an antique aircraft restoration company and is very active in protecting neglected animals, especially dogs. He is just about ready to do the wing inspection. He has purchased and received Burl's kit, but is going to use the AMOC procedure instead. Randy has found a unique way to install a shoulder harness arrangement without interfering with the headliner. I sat in the pilot seat and the strap felt very comfortable, just like in your automobile."
