This 1948 Sedan had been damaged in Minnesota, going through a fence and into a corn field, due to a fuel tank vent mounted the wrong way. In 1979 Whitey Lance bought it, trailered it to New Jersey, restored and owned it, until 2016, when Chester Nelson of Little Falls, Minnesota, bought it. In January 2017, Chester emailed us the following details:
"I went out to New Jersey, picked it up and brought it home with me as a restoration project. I got everything put together, then decided to sell it, again. Boris Goritchan purchased it from me and is now restoring N1039H in Duluth, Minnesota, USA."
