Long-time owner of this 1948 model Sedan was Ed "Flying Ed" Arbo who put his plane up for sale in August 2012, since he barely flew it, anymore. At the time, it was based at his private airstrip near Charlotte, Maine, USA. Here is an interesting article about "Flying Ed". The below photos were taken in May 2012.
Following is Ed's description of the airplane at the time of sale: "I purchased it in 1968. As of May 2012, TTAF is 2994 hours, engine time SMOH 1396 hours and 896 hours STOH. The VHF radio installed is a King KX 145 and there is a 121.5 MHz ELT. The Ceconite covering was new in 1967, but still tested over 100 in Fall 2011. The paint is from 1994. The annual inspection is valid until November 2012. Without the wing AD being complied with, I am aiming at a selling price of US$ 40'000."
Since January 2015, 15AC-148 is registered to its new owner, Larry Feldhusen of Yankeetown, Florida, USA, and has undergone a 2-year restoration. Larry reports that the six cylinder Continental runs great and that his Sedan flies exceptionally well. Congratulations, Larry! N1334H now calls Dunnellon (X35), Florida, its homebase. Stand by for post-restoration photos.
