This is a 1948 Aeronca Sedan. Previously owned by Ed Schnepf of Thousand Oaks, California, its new owner, Paul Persinger, emailed us recent pictures (02-05) and the following information, in March 2018:
"I just bought N1204H. It's currently in Southern California. In the next few weeks, I will take it to the Reno, Nevada area and, in late May, my wife and I will fly it north to Alaska, where we live. At least that's the plan.
My Sedan has had quite a life. Spent time as a crop duster, doing aerial survey, towing banners and hauling skydivers. She was "upgraded" to an O-300-D, some years ago, and is sporting a full six pack in the panel."
