This 1949 Sedan's original Continental C-145 powerplant has been replaced by a 180 hp Lycoming engine. The striking color scheme was designed and applied by its previous owner, Sedan Type Certificate holder Burl Rogers, after he had done a complete rebuild. N1363H is pictured at Lake Hood, Anchorage, Alaska, USA, on wheels and on Aero 3000 skis with the Magnum 1 Wheel Penetration Tail Ski from Burl's Aircraft. But also on Sand Lake, Anchorage, from where the current owner, Philip Asay, operates it as a floatplane.
