In 2012, former owner of this classic 1949 Sedan, Scott Johnson, reported:

"This plane spent most of its time in Minnesota. It even served as a crop duster for a while! It flew on and off, then sat for about 10 years, until Sam Cochran restored it in 1998. Since 2004, it belonged to Gary Wray until April 2012, when we purchased it. It's a good basic stock Sedan and really shines up nicely with some elbow grease. Equipped with a Terra Com and a transponder. As of May 2012, the Continental O-300-A engine has 875 hours SMOH and the airframe less than 1700 hours TTAF! Our Sedan is based at Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA."

Photos 01 and 02 were taken at Visalia, California, early 2012. Photos 03 and 04 show the Sedan at the Antique Airfield, Blakesburg, Iowa, during a stop on its delivery flight from California to Michigan. Photo 05 was taken at Honey Acres (7N4), Michigan, in May 2012. Photos 06 and 07 were shot from a Cessna 150.

In April 2014, new owner Tony Randhawa, a friend of former owner Scott Johnson, sent us an email:

"I just joined the Sedan community... Bought Scott's Sedan, a few months ago, and just started flying it, since the winter here just let up. She is quite a bird and always puts a smile on my face. N1378H is still based in Ann Arbor and makes quite a companion to my Tiger Moth."
