Previously owned by Thomas Wright and based on his farm near Newcastle, Wyoming, this 1950 Sedan was severely damage in September 2011, when its Quonset hangar collapsed due to strong winds. In February 2012, Chester Nelson of Pequot Lakes, Minnesota, USA, purchased the wreckage with the intention of restoring 15AC-517 to flying condition. Seven years later, the project is now nearing completion.
